Core Values

At any church, the Core Values are the things that drive what they do and how they do them. Below, you will find a list of our core values and how they affect the way in which we minister. Please feel free to explore and ask questions.

Christ's Headship

We acknowledge Christ as the Head of our church and submit ourselves and all of our activities to His will and good pleasure (Ephesians 1:22-23). We believe that to know the will of Christ, we must hold to the teachings of God's word with integrity and authority (2 Timothy 3:16). We also know that it is only through private and corporate prayer that Christ's Headship will show through our conception, planning, and execution of all the ministries and activities of this church (Matthew 7:7-11).

Committed Discipleship

We seek to create a community of believers who are committed to and fully participate in biblically functioning small groups where they may exercise their gifts, be shepherded, and thus grow in Christlikeness (Acts 2:44-46). We seek to equip all our uniquely designed and gifted people to effectively and passionately accomplish the work of our ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13). We support the spiritual nurture of the family as one of God's dynamic means to perpetuate the Christian faith (2 Timothy 1:5).

Seeking the Lost

We desire that all men may come to know the forgiveness and salvation found in Christ. As such, we desire to seek ways to reach the community of Mexico with the gospel message as well as those who are in other regions of the world (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8). We know that many who are not yet committed to Christ are in our community; therefore, we desire to create a non-threatening environment in our church in which they are free to explore the Christian faith (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).

Faithful stewardship

We know that everything we have is given to us by God (Psalm 24:1). Therefore, we desire to be faithful stewards of the resources available to us (1 Corinthians 4:2). We also know that God has given us more than just physical resources. We desire to be stewards of the time and talents that God has given us as well (1 Peter 4:10). We also want to be generous in the things we have (1 Timothy 6:18b).

Excellence in Everything

We desire to do everything with excellence as if we were doing them for the Lord (Colossians 3:17, 23-24). This is shown through the way we present ourselves. It is shown through eh integrity that we have in our ministries and staff. And it is shown in our leadership.
